He was predeceased by : his parents, Amedie Bernier and Marie Bernier (Cormier); his sister Carole Duclos (Roland); and his pet Bruno. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Bernier (Sabo); his children, Clifford Bernier and Deanna Rivera (Carlos); his niece Marie Ouimette; his nephew James Duclos; his grandchildren, Miranda Rios, Noah Bernier, Cassandra Rios, Thomas Bernier, Logan Bernier and Roxcelly Rivera; and his pet Suzie.

The family wishes memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association and the CT Humane Society.
