It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Richard Voorvaart in Windham, Connecticut, born in Des Plaines, Illinois, who passed away on September 5, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father John Voorvaart; and his siblings, Rose Voorvaart and Henry Voorvaart. He is survived by : his mother Patricia Voorvaart (Matthews); and his siblings, Peter Voorvaart (Darla) of Windsor Locks, Lisa Voorvaart of Granby, CT and Tara Derouen (Michael) of South Carolina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the CT Eastern Railroad Museum, Willimantic CT.
