With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arnold James Pickett of Windsor Locks, Connecticut, who passed away on May 9, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arnold James Pickett to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Johnson and Lucia Oliver Johnson; his siblings, Leonard "Bus", Guy Johnson, Faye Hansen and Sheila Walsh; and his nephews, Jody and Patrick Walsh.

He is survived by: his daughter Lorraine Booth; his granddaughter Emily Booth; his brother Gary Johnson; his niece Cathy Virgie; his nephews, Fred Johnson, Lonnie Johnson, Kenny, Tim, Shawn and Ryan Walsh; his former wife Barbara; his friend Garrett Hurrle; and also Bill.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home (441 Spring St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Manchester Church of Christ (595 Tolland Turnpike, Manchester, CT 06040).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Larry's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

“Larry was a dear friend, co -Worker at Colt over 30 years , he was very dedicated to his job and providing for his daughter and granddaughter , he loved trailer living in East Hartford, we endured 4&a half year strike at Colt , he worked many jobs to keep going, He always was well groomed and very polite, helped his neighbors , retiring about 8 years ago he moved closer to his daughter and granddaughter , He will be Missed By All that Knew him , He touched the lives of many .
