He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marian Banasiak and Helen Banasiak [Slezak]; his wife Debbie Andrews; his daughters, Susan [Banasiak] and Catharine McDonald (Banasiak); his son-in-law John McDonald; his grandchildren, Hudson Andrew and Reagan Violette; and his friends, Eddie and Brian.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home (807 Bloomfield Ave, Windsor, CT 06095). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Damien of Molokai Parish - St. Gabriel (379 Broad St, Windsor, CT 06095). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:50 AM at the Riverside Cemetery East Street (122 East St, Windsor, CT 06095).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ed's honor to the Law Enforcement Active Duty Emergency Responder Program (LEADER) at McLean Hospital, 115 Mill Street, Belmont, MA 02478.
