He was predeceased by: his parents, Jordao DeSousa and Alice DeSousa (Ponte); and his sister Margaret DeSousa. He is survived by: his wife Jean DeSousa (Viggiano); his sons, Marc DeSousa of Windsor Locks and Brian DeSousa of Oklahoma; his grandson Benjamin; his brothers, Carlos DeSousa (Marie), Norbert "Nobby" DeSousa (Silvana) and Gerald DeSousa; and his brother-in-law James Viggiano (Nancy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home (441 Spring St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
