He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Galarneau and Gertrude Galarneau (Zenzen); and his siblings, Mary Wells and Michael Galarneau. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Galarneau (Witherspoon); his children, Karen A. Quesnel (James), Vincent J. Galarneau, Andrew J. Galarneau (Barbara), Matthew L. Galarneau (Heather) and Michael B. Galarneau (Karen); his grandchildren, David Burgess, Monica Burgess (Andrew Kunze), Jeffrey Burgess, Brian Miller (Jennifer), Ashley Gavioli, Brooke Quesnel, Mitchell (Victoria), Connor, Lindsay Galarneau, Victoria, Kaitlin, Sophie Galarneau, Claire, Grace, Charlotte Galarneau, Danielle Castonguay (Colton), Megan Merrick (Case) and Valerie Galarneau; and his great grandchild Riley Miller.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home (441 Spring St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Robert Bellarmine Church (52 S Elm St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096).
