He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Shirley LaGrange (Whalen); his parents, Albert J. Joseph Sr. and Emma LaGrange (Cormier); his son Jeffrey J. LaGrange; his son-in-law Lawrence Oberst; his sisters, Regina Frankin and Joan Carroll; and his close friend Rosalie Kone.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Moore of Manchester, Albert J. LaGrange, III (Darlene) of Vero Beach, FL and Karen Oberst of Port St; his daughter-in-law Ann Marie LaGrange of Windsor Locks; his brother Gerald LaGrange (Janet) of Canton; his grandchildren, Tawny Moore of Boca Raton, FL, Jason LaGrange of Windsor Locks, Brenna Macy (Tyler) of Avon, Albert J. LaGrange, IV of Raleigh, NC, Tyler LaGrange (Julia) of West Hartford, Scott Oberst of Simsbury, John Oberst of Windsor Locks and Tammy McKay (Dan) of Windsor; and his great grandchildren, Dalton LaGrange, Deanna Macy, Mariah Macy, Sal LaGrange, Maxi LaGrange and Kendall McKay. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carmon Poquonock Funeral Home (1816 Poquonock Ave, Windsor, CT 06095). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
