Bettye J. McGhee Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bettye J. McGhee of Windsor, Connecticut, who passed away on June 22, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wesley McGhee; and her siblings, Ann Hill, Mary Gaskins, Janet Dudley, Normadine Anderson, Patricia Ann Whitehead, Lois Talbert, Georgia Talbert and Artie Echols.
She is survived by: her brother Paul Whitehead of Springfield; her children, Dwayne McGhee of Springfield, Benita McGhee-Lewis (Nigel) of Mansfield, TX, Yvonne McGhee Jones of Windsor, CT and Patricia McGhee of Springfield; her grandchildren, Dasan McGhee, Gabriel Lewis and Lydia Lewis; and her great grandchildren, Harmony McGhee, Heaven and Dasan McGhee Jr.. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
