Eileen M. Phelps Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eileen M. Phelps (Windsor, Connecticut), who passed away on April 19, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Raymond Kramer and Agnes M. Kramer (Donnellan); her children, Peter Phelps and Kathleen Phelps; her grandson Benjamin Phelps; and her siblings-in-law, William Cypher and Barbara Kramer.
She is survived by: her husband Richard F. Phelps; her children, Michael (Frances Phelps) of Cheyenne, WY, Thomas Phelps (Diane Wenzel) of Issaquah, WA, Daniel (Maureen Phelps) of Hebron and Maureen Klinkert (Clark Klinkert) of Canton; her grandchildren, Nicole Phelps (Damion Hine), Éamon Kummert (Maya), Sara Phelps (Tyler Smith), Andrew Phelps, Oona Kummert, Max Klinkert, Christopher Phelps and Willem Klinkert; and her siblings, Patricia Kramer of Norwich, James Kramer of North Carolina and Dorothy Cypher of Bow, NH. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home (551 Talcottville Rd, Vernon, CT 06066). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Parish - St. Bernard (25 St Bernard's Terrace, Vernon, CT 06066). An entombment will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Bernard Cemetery.
