He was predeceased by : his parents, Dennis H. Burr and Olga Burr (Krpata). He is survived by : his wife Jane Burr (Gocht); his children, James Burr of Vernon and Katherine Lombardo (Brian) of Granby; his grandchildren, Anna and Nicholas; and his brothers, Donald Burr of Cromwell and Dennis Burr (Susan) of Hutchinson Island, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Congregational Church of Vernon (695 Hartford Turnpike, Vernon, CT 06066). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
