She was predeceased by: her husband Chester Zawada; and her parents, John Kywan and Alice Kywan (Szymanski). She is survived by: her children, Robert Zawada (Pamela) of Cartersville, Georgia and Sandra Zawada (Anndean Kmetz) of Killingworth; her grandchildren, Christopher Zawada (Daniela), Amy Pavlakis (Michael) and Eric Zawada (Hilda); her great grandchildren, Claire, Zachary, Rian and Benjamin; and her sister Mary Levesque.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carmon Funeral Home (807 Bloomfield Ave, Windsor, CT 06095). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery East St (122 East St, Windsor, CT 06095).
