He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Swedo and Kolz; and his siblings, Michael Swedo and Catherine Durnan (Swedo). He is survived by: his daughters, Dannielle Swedo Francis (Tim) and Rachel Seymour (Jenn); his granddaughters, Catherine, Abigail, Olivia and Madeline Francis (Linda Swedo); and his brother Steven Swedo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
