He is survived by: his sister Cindy Schaefer of Stafford Springs; his sister-in-law Roberta Schaefer of Windsor; his nieces, Julie Eaton (Mark) of Stafford Springs and Jill Schaefer; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Simran and Rowan Singh of Simsbury; his nephew Jeffery Schaefer (Alondra); his great-nephew Jack Schaefer of North Hollywood, CA; and his caregiver Nurzaada "Nora" Sadirbek Kyzy. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
