He was predeceased by : his father Joe Baker Sr.; and his brother Joe Baker Jr.. He is survived by : his daughters, Janae and Jiana Baker; his mother Geraldine Baker-Henderson; his sister-in-law Rev. Charlotte Brown-Baker; and his nieces and nephews, Joe Baker III (Jessica), Jennifer, Jordan and Jackson Baker.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Carmon Funeral Home (807 Bloomfield Ave, Windsor, CT 06095). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
