She was predeceased by: her husband Ted Gardziel. She is survived by: her children, Ted Gardziel (Tracy), Renae van Dell and Annette Buckley (Michael); her siblings, Mary Ellen Gray and Larry Schoonmaker; and her sister-in-law Polly Gardziel. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathy's memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
