She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Cottrell and Carl Larmond. She is survived by: her husband Sidney Thompson; her children, Mwanisha Larmond and Gabre Thompson; her grandchildren, Aniyah Walker, Gabre Thompson Jr., G'Andre Thompson, Gabrielle Thompson, Gavin Thompson, Giovani Thompson, Gabre Thompson III and Gianna Thompson; and her brother Fred Scarlett. She is also survived by sisters, along with a host of extended family.
