Robert left this world on October 14, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He is survived by: his siblings, Ellisa A. Forde of England, Veronica Graham of Hartford, CT, Merlie King of Concord, NC, Felix A. Gopie of Florida and Carlton Gopie of Florida; his grandchildren, Roshaunda Jones Wilkins (Deangelo) of Gaffney, SC, David Parker of Hartford, CT and Trezon Jefferson Sr. of Hartford, CT; his great grandchildren, Destiny Wilkins of Gaffney, SC, Faith Wilkins of Gaffney, SC, Gracen Wilkins of Gaffney, SC and Trezon Jefferson Jr. of Hartford, CT; his great great grandchild Melody Grace Smith of Gaffney, SC; and his granddaughter Terrian Akinmade (Ojo) of Spartanburg, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Lodge 130 Deerfied Rd. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
