It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Melton Thompson Sr. (Windsor, Connecticut), who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though William Melton may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William Melton touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thompson and Panater Thompson (Franklin). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Anne Washington; his children, William Thompson Jr. (Kathy) and Cynthia Thompson; his grandson William Thompson III (Carolyn); and his great grandchild William Thompson IV.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carmon Funeral Home (807 Bloomfield Ave, Windsor, CT 06095). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
