Elizabeth Kelsey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Kelsey of Winsted, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Dings (Bohr) and Franklin Dings; and her brother Richard Dings. She is survived by: her husband Neil R. Kelsey; her children, Neil S. Kelsey (Heather) of Farmington and Susan Brodersen (Jeffrey) of Glastonbury; her grandchildren, Brendan, Steven, Timothy Kelsey, William Brodersen and Molly Fortuna (Joseph); and her sisters, Clara Dziedzic and Sheila Sedlack (Steven). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Montano-Shea Funeral Home (922 Main St, Winsted, CT 06098). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (186 Main St, Winsted, CT 06098).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Foothills VNA, 32 Union Street, Winsted, The Winsted Senior Center and/or The Winchester Historical Society.
