As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Floyd may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Jespersen and Emmerette Jespersen (Hart); and his siblings, Walter, Mary and Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Jespersen (Leifert). He is also survived by his wife of 68 years and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Montano-Shea Funeral Home (922 Main St, Winsted, CT 06098).
