Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Francis leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Gallo. He is survived by: his children, Paul Gallo of California, Joyce Ann Gallo of Georgia and Kim Gallo of Goshen; and his granddaughters, Melanie, Kristen Kandefer, Madison and Kelsey Gallo.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Montano-Shea Funeral Home (922 Main St, Winsted, CT 06098). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (186 Main St, Winsted, CT 06098).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and/or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), in honor of causes close to Frank's heart.
