Gloria M. Gabelmann Obituary
We announce the death of Gloria M. Gabelmann (Winsted, Connecticut), who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 96. Gloria will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Miller and Beatrice Miller (Coe); her husband Charles F. Gabelmann Jr.; and her siblings, Beatrice Emmons, Reuben Miller, Mary Thomsen and John Miller.
She is survived by: her son Charles III (Cynthia) of Bath; her granddaughters, Caitlin Gabelmann (Thomas Addor), Margaret Gabelmann and Hannah Brewer (Mason); her son Richard (Sheryl) of Winsted; her granddaughter Rachel Decker (Jeremy); her son Gregory (Kathryn) of East Windsor; her grandchildren, Nancy Bednarz (John Moran), Susan Gabelmann (Alex Tzoklinov), Thomas Gabelmann (Stephanie Grey), Abigail Gabelmann and Bonnie Gabelmann (Jack Collins); Maurice Gabelmann and Winthrop Southworth. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Crystal Peak (164 Torrington Rd, Winsted, CT 06098).
