He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Devanney and Carol Devanney (Hoffman); and his brother Dennis Devanney. He is survived by: his wife Linda Devanney (Smith); his daughter Colleen Devanney (Evan Taylor); and his siblings, Ray "Remi" Devanney of Manchester, CT, Sean Devanney of Florida, Dr. James Devanney of New Hartford, CT, Damien Devanney of Winsted, CT, Pat Hotchkiss of Watertown, CT, Jennifer Barry of Bloomfield, CT and Rebecca "Becky" Moran of Farmington, CT. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cook Funeral Home (82 Litchfield St, Torrington, CT 06790). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Paul the Great Parish (160 Main St, Torrington, CT 06790).
