He was predeceased by : his parents, John J. Kampartas and Virginia Kampartas (Matinas). He is survived by : his spouse Clare Kampartas (Hicks); his sons, John J. Kampartas, III of Torrington and James E. Kampartas of Winsted; and his grandchildren, Michael J. Kampartas and Kira C. Kampartas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Joseph Church: 31 Oak St, Winsted, CT 06098 or the American Cancer Society.
