Joseph Cilfone Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Cilfone of Winsted, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joseph departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Joseph. Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his close friend Sandra Newman; his brother Vincent Cilfone; and his parents, Joseph Dean and Gloria Lorraine Cilfone (Colella). He is survived by: his son Joseph Michael Cilfone, Jr.; his siblings, Anthony V. (Joanne Cilfone), Gloriann (Walter Tamulonis) and Dean Cilfone (Krista Palomba); and his sisters-in-law, Sandra (Jim Rizk) and Joann Cilfone. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (2324 E Main St, Waterbury, CT 06705).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Joe by taking a ride, lending a hand to someone in need, or spending time doing what you love—just as he did every day.
