It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose (Royer) MacKinnon (Winsted, Connecticut), born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on May 17, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Caron and Josephine Coleman (Pierce); her son Michael Caron; and her siblings, Mary Hibbard and Clyde Coleman.
She is survived by: her spouse Francis "Mac" R. MacKinnon; her children, Nadine Bristol (Daniel) of Canton, Ronald Bessette of Winsted and April Bournival of Winsted; her stepchildren, Dee McBride (Jack), Steven Royer, Rodney Royer of Winsted, Brenda, Robert, Peter, Doris and Regina; her grandchildren, Kristina, Robert, Josh, Nick, Hope, Michael, Joseph, Corey and Adam; and her pet Mattie. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
