Rose Mary Surdam Obituary

We bid farewell to Rose Mary Surdam (Winsted, Connecticut), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 14, 2026 at the age of 93. Rose touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William Surdam; her parents, Salvatore DiCara and Roselia DiCara (Columbi); and her siblings, Philip DiCara, C. John DiCara, Sr., Mary Angela DiCara, Antoinette DiCara and Elizabeth "Betty" Germon.

She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret "Peg" of Winsted and Deborah "Debbie" Meeks; and her grandchildren, William "Bill" Nash of Windsor, Rose "Rosie" Nash of China, Chris Meeks and Ashley Meeks. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
