Sharon Burek Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Burek of Winsted, Connecticut, born in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, who passed away on November 2, 2025 at the age of 59. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharon Burek to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Ellen Moore; and her brother Jim Moore. She is survived by: her husband Michael Burek; her father Larry Moore; her siblings, Doug Moore, Jo Heitzman, Lisa, Angela Moore and Kim (Craig Buckland); and her friend Leslie. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sharon Presbyterian Church (1302 160th St, Farmington, IA 52626).
A memorial has been established in her memory.
