He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Kelley and Elinor Kelley (Parsons); and his siblings, Harold Kelley, Austin Kelley, Richard Kelley, Elinor Dodge, Clifford Kelley and William Kelley.

He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia J. Cappabianca of Winsted, Joan Tully (Edward) of Winsted, Terrence P. Kelley (Diane) of Winsted, Kathleen A. Quick (Kelley) of Bristol, Sharon Rich (Glenn) of Winsted and Dennis Kelley; and his sisters-in-law, Marlene Kelley, Donna Kelley and Anita Kelley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Montano-Shea Funeral Home (922 Main St, Winsted, CT 06098). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to: The Veteran's Administration.
