It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Patrick Buyak (Winsted, Connecticut), who passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Buyak (Pomeroy); his parents, William Buyak and Mary Buyak (McLaughlin); his brother Richard Buyak; and his great grandchild Ava Newman.
He is survived by: his children, David Buyak (Jacquelynn) of New Hartford, Nancy Hoyt of Torrington and Susan Newman (Fred) of New Hartford; his brother Frank Buyak of Norfolk; and his great grandchild Patti Myers. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
