Dorothy Messner West Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2023, at the age of 96, Dorothy Messner West of Wolcott, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Otto M. Messner and Dorothea J. Messner (Nissen); and her daughter Elaine Maynard. She is survived by : her son Richard West (Cherl); her son-in-law Daniel Edes; her grandchildren, Ronald Rogers, Amy Peck (Alex), Christopher Edes, Ian West (Courtney) and Anne Tilton; and her siblings, Donald Messner (Carol), William Messner (Maxine), Richard Messner (Joan) and Clara Richards. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
To honor Dorothy's memory, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Scholarship Fund of the First Congregational Church, 222 West Street, Waterbury, CT 06702.
