He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Begley Sr. and Nancy Begley (Panasci). He is survived by: his wife Ann M. Begley (Farese) of Wolcott; his children, Rita Genovese of Litchfield, James R. Begley Jr. of Florida and Amy Lavoie (Derek) of West Hartford; his grandsons, Niko and Donovan Lavoie; his brother-in-law Carmine Farese (MaryEllen); his sibling's children, Carmine and Sambina Farese of Watertown; his cousin Jay Flynn; and his close friends, Kenny Williamson and Ted Prescott. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chase Parkway Memorial (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (74 W Main St, Waterbury, CT 06702).
