He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Feichtner and Rosemary Feichtner (Kerrisk); and his brothers, Mark and Andrew Feichtner. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Feichtner (Woolf); his son Daniel Feichtner of Woodbridge; and his siblings, Eugene W. Feichtner of Indiana, Rosemary Weber of Indiana, Libby Misciagna of North Carolina and Maria Taylor of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
