It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter Stamos of Woodbridge, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on March 19, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Mary Vartelas; his brothers, John and Harry Stamos; his sister-in-law Aphrodite Asproulis (Gus); his uncles, Louie and Paul Vonetes; and his nephew John Vartelas.
He is survived by : his children, Gregory (Susan), Paul (Karen), Lisa Heerdt (John) and Paris Heath (Terry); his grandchildren, Alexis, Angelika (James), Jacob (Kaitlyn) and Lauren (Alex); his great grandchildren, Parelea and Maxine; his nieces and nephews, John Stamos, Steven Stamos, Chris Stamos, Pamela Alessio, Robyn Reilly, Paul Vartelas, Christopher Vartelas, Larissa Cristiano, Ioanna Madigosky, Jimmy Vartelas, Judy Hricko and Allan Vartelas; his cousin Aggeliki; his sisters-in-law, Tekla Vartelas, Helen Vartelas and Grace Stamos; his friend Helen Vittorio; and also, Nikki and George.
