It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Chappel of Woodbridge, Connecticut, born in Ansonia, Connecticut, who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Douglas-Fountain and Alexander Fountain; her brother Irving Fountain; and her husband Thomas Chappel Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Carla Chappel and Clark Chappel; her grandchildren, Zakiya Hamm, Jordan Chappel-Duncan, Charnele Chappel and Clarissa Chappel; and her great grandchildren, Cashon Chappel and Kenleigh Deloatch. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
