It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Cassidy of Woodbury, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Donald Cassidy and Dorothy West Cassidy. She is survived by: her son Brendan; her sisters, Carol, Frances, Margaret and Diane; and her nieces and nephews, Sarah, Ellen, Johannes, Isaac and Magnus.
