It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Phillips (Woodbury, Connecticut), who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Joan had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Joan may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her brother Steven of Bethlehem. She is survived by: her husband Frank Phillips; her sons, Frank and Brian; and her granddaughter Christina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a donation in her memory to the Southbury Land Trust.
