He was predeceased by: his wife June Hoyt (Hoffman); his close friend Jeannette Deegan; his brother Robert Francis Hoyt; and his parents, John J. Hoyt and Margaret Hoyt (Kindt).
He is survived by: his children, Robin Jejer (Jonathan), Allison Testa (Gary), Valerie Stitt (Kent) and John W. Hoyt II (Lorena); and his grandchildren, Ericca Testa Johnson (Kyle), Gary Testa Jr. (Gabrielle), Kaitlyn Stitt Mehr (Steve), Kyle Stitt, Nicholle Jejer Roman (Kyle) and Nathan Jejer (Amelia). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be made in John's name to: St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Shriners Children's Hospital.
