Richard Estey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Estey (Woodbury, Connecticut), who passed away on November 3, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Estey and Doris Estey (Bradshaw). He is survived by: his wife Joan Hildebrandt Estey; his children, Margaret Estey-McLoone (Kevin) of Brookfield, Connecticut, Diana Marie Estey of Bellingham, Washington, Richard Estey Jr. (Robin) of Yardley, Pennsylvania and Alison Estey (Matt Guffey) of Stowe, Vermont.; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Melissa (Reed Grabowski), Heather, Colin McLoone, Rachel, Caroline, Samuel, Jonah Estey, Tomforde "TJ" and Parker Estey-Guffey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to Connecticut Choral Society (ctcchoralsociety.org) and Trout Unlimited (tu.org).
