It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Marjorie Sheldon of Woodstock, Connecticut, born in Putnam, Connecticut, who passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Wayland N. Sheldon, Jr.; her parents, Elizabeth Aldrich Perry (Wilcox) and William Chandler Aldrich; her daughter Cindy L. Whitehouse; her brother John W. Aldrich; and her stepbrother Ralph A. Perry.

She is survived by : her children, Marjorie S. Roy (Richard) of Woodstock, Wendy E. Young (Timothy) of Woodstock, Tamara H. Doyon, Mark W. Sheldon (Beth) of Eastford, Brian N, Sheldon (Marie) of Woodstock, Mathew D. Sheldon of Woodstock, Scott W. Sheldon (Lynn) of Mansfield Center, Gary W. Sheldon of Pomfret Center and Peter T. Sheldon (Susan) of Woodstock; her siblings, Paul C. Aldrich (Diane) of Putnam and Linda A. Rose; and her stepsister Janice C. Perry. She is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren and thirty-three great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Roseland Cottage (556 CT-169, Woodstock, CT 06281).
