It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adline Pinkney (Washington, District of Columbia), who passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her stepmother Maggie Thompson; her brother Samuel Thompson; and also, Elouise Cobb and Gladys Thompson. She is survived by: her brother Jesse Thompson Jr.; her children, Marie, Roger (Queenie), Michael, Emanuel, Caroline, Walter Jr., Emmanuel (Ava) and William Sr. (Tania); her grandchildren, Atlay, Tina, Gregory, Tiffany, Ubadiah Al-Laythi, Rodney, Michael, Terrence, Antonio, Malik, N'diya, Chauntise, Joanna, Shamika, Unique, Elliott, William Jr. and Nia; and also Annie Wise. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
