She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlando Hobbs and Gladys Hobbs; her son James Stanley Guyton, III (Stan); and her siblings, Williston, Addison, John and Orlando.
She is survived by: her husband Colonel James S. Guyton; her sibling's children, Carolyn Murray, Danielle Hobbs, Joyce Pierce, Malika Hobbs, Pamela Anderson, Dr. Yvonne Hobbs-Allen and John Hobbs, Jr.; and her sisters-in-law, Dora Anne Taylor-Hobbs and Rev. LaVonne Hobbs. She is also survived by great-great nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and dear friends.
