He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. McNamara and Alice P. McNamara. He is survived by: his wife Victoria Starbuck; his siblings, Joseph (Lois), David (Amy), Jerome (Mary Jo), Peter (Judy), James (Kathy) and Mary Alice (Tim); his nephew Porter; and his pet Sammy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Andrew's memory can be made to Gonzaga College High School, 19 Eye Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001.
