We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2025, at the age of 76, Annemaria Veronika Strong of Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Maria Margareta Gernert; her children, Carmen Shepherd (John), Harvey Strong, Jr. (Taiwania), Yevette West (James III), Bianca Strong and Michaela Gernert (Germany); her grandchildren, Kezarae (Paris), Waniisha, Jamecia, Keith, James IV, Naila, Jalen, Sydney, Jayel, John III and Tyraya; and her great grandchild Desmond. She was also cherished by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Washington Community Fellowship Church (907 Maryland Ave NE, Washington, DC 20002). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
