She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Kolton and Rose Kolton (Korngage); her siblings, Mary Agnes Avington, John Francis, Charles Bernard, Margaret Ann Pearson, Vivian Rose Swigart, Martha Louise Lipford and James Lawrence; and her aunts and uncles, John, Frank, Mike Korngage, Mary Harper and Anna Gault. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces as well as grandnephews and grandnieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Everly Wheatley Funeral Home (1500 W Braddock Rd, Alexandria, VA 22302). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (1427 W Braddock Rd, Alexandria, VA 22302). A reception will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Everly Wheatley Funeral Home (1500 W Braddock Rd, Alexandria, VA 22302).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation; the Catholic Near East Welfare Association; Catholic Relief Service; or to a charity of your choice that will honor her memory.
