She is survived by: her children, Derrick A. Harper and Stephanie D. Fields (Carlos Jr.); her grandchildren, Carlos L Fields III (Heather), Corey S. Fields, Ronald T. Kent II (Alexis), Kayla Harper and Armetria Jones; and her brother Carl Ransom. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Samaritan Baptist Church (1100 Florida Ave NE, Washington, DC 20002). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
