She was predeceased by : her son Ricky Mungo; her grandson Derrick Graham; and her parents, John Robinson and Marie Robinson. She is survived by : her husband Alvin Brooks; her son Tim Crestwell; her grandchildren, Richard Mungo, Ashley Crestwell, Terrence Crestwell, Tiara Crestwell, Christopher Crestwell and Kandi Newton; and her great grandchildren, Amir Ingram, Elizabeth Crestwell, Logan Marie Crestwell, Markus Voltaire, Malani Voltaire, Richard Mungo, Jr. and Ricky Mungo.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Turner Funeral Home (3913 Webb Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37416). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
