She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaiah Squirewell and Amanda Bagley Squirewell; her siblings, Mary Ashe and Isaiah Roosevelt Squirewell; her daughters, Linda Burns and Gwendolyn Squirewell; and her granddaughter Stephanie Squirewell Hooks.
She is survived by: her children, Stanley Squirewell (Mary), Lorrie Ann Silvers, Frederick Silvers (Faith), Berkley Silvers (Liz) and Tijuana Leftwich (Michael); her siblings, Patricia Morrison, Wanda Williamson, Sharon Squirewell, Yvonne Mackey and Leon Squirewell; her goddaughter Angela Montague Jefferson; Bobbie Gean. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
