It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian John McManus (Washington, District of Columbia), who passed away on August 15, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Joseph and Grace Fannelly McManus; and his brother Frederick J. McManus, Jr.. He is survived by: his sister Daria McManus Lowe; his niece Alexandra Lowe Welch; his great-nephew Sagan Vance Welch; his great-niece Vivienne Majette Welch; and his nephew Hunter McManus Lowe. He is also survived by his family and numerous friends.
Brian was a distinguished classical pianist who cherished his grand piano, especially during the covid years, and he was active in several D. C. musical groups.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Anselm's Abbey School, Washington DC.
