He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Noble Smith and Ruth Branch Smith; and his brother Alan Smith. He is survived by: his son Theolonious Smith (Laura); his granddaughter Marlow Jean Smith; his sister Christine Jennings; his sibling's children, Karun Koernig, Bryce Jennings and Tenaja Jennings; and his close friend Duke. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
